kitchen & bedroom pixel tapestry

This tapestry was made using digital images of kitchens and bedrooms found in vintage magazines from the 1950s.  The images were abstracted by converting them to very small sizes and then enlarging them again digitally in Photoshop.  They become a quilt of digital pixels that represent the idealized American "home".
