Sarah Buckius

Artist & Educator, based in Santa Cruz, CA. My recent creative work involves "Intertwined HerStories" reenacting and enacting the unpaid and paid labor of women (mothers), including my own from lived experience. Recent education projects for children involve consilience and bring together my interest in nature, science, engineering, self-expression, imagination, and well-being. I am passionate about my experiences in photography, videography, performance, engineering, design, storytelling, education, caregiving, collaboration, social and racial justice, gender equity, creative problem-solving and humor.
